Now, we really started feeling back at home in the good old south when we came across these familiar scenes...

Creative Gardening with Kudzu.

Backyard Tobacco Curing.

And, of course, for the hunters.

Denis had the staff and lunch crowd at Danny's Cafe in Burlington all agog with the epicurean delight he had invented...

It had to be Greek food tonight.

We had a delicious meal at the Athena Greek Tavern  www.athenagreektaverna.net

 Horiatiki
An authentic Greek village salad, made with a delectable blend of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, green peppers, Feta cheese and served with an extra virgin olive oil dressing.

Vegetarian Moussaka
Layers of fresh roasted vegetables topped with a bechamel sauce and served with scented rice.

Baklava!
